Hello!
It's another month closer to Christmas!
I know it's hard to believe with the continued heat. You should
start thinking about making your Christmas cards. It's never too
early. I have started to order a few fall and Christmas things here
and there.
Be sure to put our Snowman Day Open House on
your Calendar for Sept. 18. We have come up with a variety of
activities. Don't forget to bring your basic class kit or at least
scissors and adhesive.
We have some new classes scheduled for this
month. Karen is teaching an acrylic scrapbook page, a 12x12 framed
page, and a class featuring how to make different handmade flowers.
On Sept. 9, she will be repeating her paper roll book for any of you who
missed it.
Shanon will do another class for kids.
She is also teaching a two part background technique class.
We have had a demand for Debi's Cricut
classes so Cricut 3: Using Vinyl is on the schedule. If you
need parts one or two, call us and we will try to fit you in as soon as
possible. She is also starting her 4 part Beginning Scrapbooking
class again. This provides a lot of basic information for beginners
as well as those who have scrapped for awhile. Don't miss her
Halloween Candy Slider Cards. Great treats for students, children
and co-workers! You can easily adapt these to any holiday, birthday,
etc.
Lenora hasn't scheduled any classes this
month. However, she is willing to fit you in for any of the classes
she teaches that you may have missed (Artlenz, glass etching, bleach
technique, beginning pergamano, Thomas Kinkade, etc.)
I will be teaching the following classes:
Stamping 101, Beginning Cards, Christmas Tree Cards, Iris Folding Cards,
Fall Waterfall Cards, and Pleated Cards.
Please remember to sign up at least 2 days in
advance so the instructors have time to prepare the materials. We
have cancelled a couple of classes for lack of interest. Then
somebody called the morning of the class to sign up; that doesn't
give us enough time to get things ready. We prefer that you pay for
the class at that time you sign up.
New papers and supplies should be in about
midweek. The Smooch sold well so more are on the way.
We will be open on Labor Day from 10-6.
Well stop by when you have a minute to shop
or visit.
