Has spring finally arrived or is it an April Fool's joke? I hope it's the real thing!
Thank you for making last month a good month for the store. Everyone seemed to enjoy the classes they attended. We made some great cards and enjoyed each other's company. It was fun meeting all of you new customers.
Hopefully, April will be a good month, too. We are already starting to prepare for our open house on May 2 to celebrate National Scrapbook Day. We will be making a mini album titled "The Miracles of Spring". This album can easily be adapted to cards. Remember, you can always prepay so you will be guaranteed a kit if you can't make it to the open house.
We will be continuing the G45 Monthly card classes. These cards are simple yet really gorgeous. April's cards are very springy. If you join us for the year long collection, you will have four great sets of cards to give as a Christmas gift. It's never too early to start planning since the time seems to be flying by!
Be sure to prepay or make arrangements with me by the deadline, since we are not cutting any extra kits.
We have several new classes this month. I've had several requests for a coloring/blending class. We will use chalks, markers, colored pencils, and inks.
Sandy will be teaching a screen card and a purse card. These are cute for any occasion and might make a good choice for Mother's Day as well.
Amanda is teaching a floral Magic Card and three cute owl cards with some different techniques on each card.
Lenora is continuing the house cards. I think this month is a spring card. She will be teaching a beach house soon as well as a card class featuring three beach scenes. Keep watching for these.
Since last month's Great Impressions cards were such a hit, we thought we would teach the cards from April's board. It is a bunch of miscellaneous stamps that make cards for a variety of occasions.
On Friday, April 24 from 6-9 one of my customers will be demonstrating Norwex products. These products are great for people with allergies or asthma since no chemicals are involved. If you would like to join us and get some information about these innovative products, please RSVP no later than Wednesday, April 22 so we will have enough food and catalogs.
Don't forget about Bunco and our Monthly Crop. We've gotten some new people at both events and have been having a wonderfully fun time. Think about trying it.
Well, I think that's all the news for now.
Take care. I hope to see you soon.
