                                           August 2015

Another month has flown by!  That's why I am behind with this newsletter.  I'm still in July!!  HA!HA!

Well, we had some good classes last month.

I am getting pretty good making quick cards.  Four of the five cards were 20 minutes or less.  I did have one failure; it took 45 minutes.  I thought all of the cards came out very nicely.  This month's quick cards are flower cards.  You may want to join us.

I will be teaching another Great Impressions Board Class this month.  I just reordered stamps for our last two boards as well as the July and August boards.  If you pre-order these stamps, you can choose wood or cling.  These should be arriving around the beginning of next week.

I have a shipment of odds and ends coming in on Friday. This order includes scor-tape in 1/4 inch, 1/8 inch, and a few other sizes people have requested.  I have restocked some of the Time to Flourish cut-apart papers and a few stamps.

If anyone is interested, I have scheduled a Symbols of Christmas Book.  This makes a great Christmas gift.  Stop by to find out the details of this class and see the sample.

Lenora's house cards have been a big hit.  She made a Fourth of July card last month.  I can't wait to see what she is making for August!

She will be doing another class featuring a new stamp company, Stamplistic.  They are beautiful cards that are reasonable to make. They remind me of stamps by Outlines and Paper Parachute.  If you like bling, you'll like these!

Amanda continues with the G45 Monthly cards for August.  We have the class scheduled for a Saturday and a Wednesday.

And last but not least, we will be having a trunk show featuring the Paper Sweeties line of stamps, dies, etc.  She will be showing all of her products and there will be a few make and takes.  You'll love the dies because they cut out the stamps.  There is a good variety of stamps.  She carries paper dolls (both boys and girls) which work great with scrapbooking, too.  More details will be forthcoming as we get closer to the show which is on Saturday, August 29 from 11-6.  Be sure to mark this on your calendar.  We hope to see you there.

Don't forget to prepay by the class deadlines so you can join us for some fun.

These have been a couple of tough months with everybody on vacation.  I appreciate any support you can give me and the store.

I look forward to seeing you.

Take care.
